An old friend of Dieter’s (Didier) was planning to visit Australia with a friend of his (Raymond).  Dieter helped them plan their trip and we offered to meet them in Port Douglas for a few days. Since we were ‘in the area’ we asked Helen and Garry if they wanted to join us afterward for a few days on their boat which was moored at Airlie Beach - they readily agreed.

We also stopped overnight in Townsville and had dinner with friends there - Larelle and Steve and Richard and Allison.
